Baboon is Spotted FLOSSING Teeth
Everyday you humans brush your teeth in the morning and before bed and sometimes you floss your teeth too. This is so important for teeth hygiene and will help keep the teeth healthy and strong through adult life.
Now the clever Baboons are learning to do the same, but they do not have toothpaste.
A captive baboon has been spotted keeping on top of her oral health by meticulously flossing her teeth. The hamadryas baboon was given a broom head by zookeepers to play with, but she seemed more interested in cleaning her teeth than her enclosure. After examining the head, Georgia plucked out a bristle, pulled it taut between both hands and started flossing.
